Ik ben Steffan ten Broeke, en studeer nu twee jaar aan het Artez conservatorium in Zwolle. De afgelopen 2 jaar heb ik mij voornamelijk bezig gehouden met jazzmuziek. Voor mijn opleiding op het conservatorium heb ik me nog niet bezig gehouden met deze muziekstijl.
Voordat ik naar het conservatorium ging speelde ik in diverse bandjes, vooral pop- en funkmuziek. Maar ik ben mij pas de laatste paar jaren een stuk meer gaan ontwikkelen.
Sinds vorig jaar ben ik begonnen met een eigen jazzbandje om hier meer ervaring in te krijgen.En ik begin volgend jaar een coverband voor soul- en funkmuziek, omdat dit de muziek is waar ik het meest van hou.Ik heb altijd alleen altsax gespeeld, maar ben sinds kort ook begonnen op tenor. Hiernaast speel ik ook EWI (Electric Wind Instrument).
In de toekomst hoop ik in goede bands te komen, om zoveel mogelijk op te treden en de wereld over te gaan.
