De Amsterdamse artiest Local Hero begon al vroeg met saxofoon spelen. Hij bleek talentvol en begon met het improviseren en meespelen op de muziek van beroemde (jazz) muzikanten. Na talrijke optredens met bands en jamsessies ontdekte Local Hero dat zijn sound perfect past bij de opkomende housemuziek. Vanaf dat moment kwam zijn muzikale carrière in stroomversnelling en heeft hij in de afgelopen 10 jaar met meer dan 1000 DJ’s samengespeeld op verschillende soorten festivals, bruiloften, bedrijfsevenementen, in (lounge) clubs, cafés, discotheken, dinner shows en andere evenementen zowel nationaal als internationaal.
